Life is full of Surprises
So here's one picture from my birthday that I *forgot* to put on that post last month. Surprise! I have had mixed feelings about this for some time. But after my first doctor's appointment this week, I am much more positive about this big change in our lives. We finally told our other 4 what was going on. Now they understand, maybe, a little bit more why Mom is always on the couch sleeping. And they are super excited. I don't think they remember what is was like 4 years ago when the youngest was born and made SO much noise... Of course, she still makes a lot of noise, just a different kind.
This is funny. My son told me that he put the word out at the high school (he's a freshman in college) that if you mess with his sister (freshman in high school) you'll answer to him. He's not talking just dating, or giving her a hard time. He put the word out to the older girls that like her no partying around her, watch their language, not to give her a ride if anything at all was questionable, etc. I laughed, and at the same time breathed a prayer of thanksgiving to God. Us parents that "throw our kids to the wolves" and send them to public school do it with a lot of apprehension, misgiving, and PRAYER!!!
