Spring in Oregon

It's Spring! But I didn't need the calendar to tell me that. My 7 year old appeared in the morning dressed in tank top and shorts. Which was fine inside the house where it's about 70 degrees. However there was ice on the car windshield and the dogs water was also on the rocks. Thankfully by the time we finished lunch and school, the sun was shining and I let the kids go wild in the fresh air. But the others were willing to oblige me with plenty of posing. I've got some ideas for Christmas gifts from all of this ... but I won't spoil it in case the recipients are reading. I'm pretty excited about though. I love taking pictures and my girls se...

Autumn

They say autumn starts in September. I don't believe it. Fall doesn't really start until I smell woodsmoke, and eat freshly picked crisp apples, and pick out the pumpkin from the patch, and watch my babies playing in the first leaves that came down from the tree, That's when Fall really begins.
