Update - Did anyone take a stab at the word of the week's meaning?  you'll have to scroll down for the answer. It's been a long time since we've had a word of the week here. But now that little K is becoming more verbal I anticipate more new words in our family vocabulary. This week the word is "bups" courtesy of 15 month old K. So what do you think it means? I'll let you know tomorrow ;) Bups in our household is the way the 1 year old says Books. At least I think that is what she is saying.

In a song they learned in church most sing, "The shepherds came to worship" but she sings "the shephens came..." and so now we all sing that way. 2. Minion meaning, "subordinate; servant" As in " I'll have the minions clean the house. " or " That's why we have these minions, isn't it?" Yes, I have used this wonderful word in my everyday speech this week, more than once even. It's a lovely reason to have 5 kids, if only to use this great word.

Words of the week

Severed Heads -- heard around our place frequently, usually from the Man of the house. for example, this conversation was heard again this week: Daughter: Dad, I want to show you something. Dad: It'd better not be a severed head. and this one: Daughter: Daddy, we bought something today. Dad: If it's a severed head, I'm going to be very upset. Do you know which movie that lines comes from?
